With the Golden Globes comes plenty of pre-parties. From the Netflix pre-party, to Showtime Golden Globe Nominee Party, to BAFTA Tea Party, and W Magazine's Best Performance Party, Variety reporters covered them all.

This year, W Magazine hosted it's annual pre-party with some changes. It was hosted by the magazine's new editor-in-chief, Sara Moonves and longtime editor-a-large Lynn Hirschberg and this year featured more breathing space, less cigarette smoke, and eco-friendly Vero Water served throughout the party,
